Dropping a line quickly for anybody who hasn’t seen El Cantante yet. Though I’m not a fan of J.Lo, Marc Anthony all by himself is worth watching the movie. The movie is good, the man is a genius and the music is excellent, so you’ll dance off of your chairs for sure! It’s based on the lifeof Hector Lavoe, famous Puerto Rican salsa singer from the ’70s.

The movie is more than just about good Latin music. Lavoe was deeply troubled and almost paranoid by the prospect of death. He suffered personal tragedies and the dismissal of a father who thought singing was not so honorable. He used up drugs to numb his pain and became HIV positive from drug use.
This song is addictive too:

Your idea is brilliant! i’ll definitely find time to come up with a list of 3 (more like 30)and email it to you.
